Resistance
A price area where rises have often stalled in the past.
Resistance is the counterpart of support: a price level where many investors sold, so the price did not rise further. It often lies at earlier highs.
When a share recovers after a dip, the previous high is often the first resistance. That is why DipCatcher deliberately sets its target below that high, so it can be reached before the price runs into the first resistance.
