Support
A price area where falls have often stopped in the past.
Support is a price level where many buyers stepped in in the past, so the price did not fall further. It often lies at earlier lows or round numbers.
If support holds again, many investors see it as a sign that the fall is coming to a halt. If it breaks clearly, it often becomes resistance for later recovery attempts. Support is an observation, not a guarantee.
