Hit rate
The share of completed analyses that ended in profit.
The hit rate counts how many completed analyses ended in profit: either the price reached the target, or it was above the entry when the analysis expired. Open analyses do not count because their outcome is not yet known.
A hit rate on its own says little: 70 % hits with small gains and large losses can be worse than 40 % hits with large gains and small losses. That is why DipCatcher always shows the average result, the number of cases and the period alongside the rate.
