Quarterly results (earnings)
The report in which a company publishes its revenue and profit every three months.
Listed companies report on their business regularly, usually every quarter. Quarterly results include revenue, profit and often an outlook for the coming months.
Around the release the price often swings strongly, especially when the numbers differ from analysts' expectations. A drop right after weak results has a different cause than a drop across the whole market. DipCatcher shows the next date and the last surprise for each share.
