ISIN
The worldwide unique identification number of a security, 12 characters long.
The ISIN (International Securities Identification Number) has 12 characters: two letters for the country, nine characters for the security and a check digit, for example DE0005470405.
With the ISIN you find exactly the right security in any broker app, even when several shares have similar names. On DipCatcher the ISIN is shown in each share's order ticket so you can enter it at your broker.
