Total loss
Losing all the money invested, for example when a company goes bankrupt.
With shares a total loss is possible: if a company goes bankrupt, the share is often worthless. Coins can also fall to almost zero. Your loss is limited to the amount invested, though; with an ordinary share purchase you never have to pay in more.
So: only invest money you can do without, and do not put everything on one card. Even a five-star share on DipCatcher can keep falling. DipCatcher is information, not investment advice.
