Market conditions
How the overall market is doing right now: normal, nervous or in a correction.
Market conditions describe the environment in which a single share falls or rises. DipCatcher puts them in three levels: normal, nervous and correction, based on the S&P 500's decline over the last 60 days, the VIX fear gauge and, for coins, Bitcoin's decline.
They help put moves in context: if a share falls in a calm market, the cause is more likely the company; in a correction, when almost everything falls, the drop may have little to do with the company itself.
