Price (quote)

The price (or quote) is the price at which a security last traded. It changes constantly during trading hours as buyers and sellers keep agreeing on new prices.

A price on its own says little; it needs a reference point, such as the previous close (daily change), the 6-week high or your purchase price. Timing matters too, which is why every price on DipCatcher shows an "as of" time.
